Wellborne Farm is a unit title development which means you own your own home and section, and a share of the Body Corporate which manages the common areas and grounds. All the facilities are available to residents and these are covered by monthly body corporate fees. In addition there are a range of extra services available for those who would like them. These include cleaning, gardening, trips and activities. It's up to you how much you want to be independent, and how much you want to socialise.

One of the principles of co-housing is to share resources, and the workshop enables the sharing of tools, equipment and expertise.
Instead of a garage filling with clutter such as lawnmowers, garden tools and fishing gear, residents can pop down to the workshop for a coffee and work on projects with friends.

The facilities are connected by a network of safe walking tracks, encouraging everyday activity.
Another advantage for residents is a branch of the beautiful Masterton Recreational Trail runs right past the property and connects you into a large well-maintained system of walking /cycling/riding paths.
And of course the Landsdown golf course and the fresh clean Ruamangha river for trout fishing and wild swimming are both within waking distance.

At Wellborne Farm you can have your boat or RV close by with dedicated facilities.
For RV owners we have a dump station and fresh water filling area.
Residents with boats can use the special wash-down and parking area so their boat will always be close by and ready to go.
Every unit has its own small private garden, and the five landscaped courtyards are a social hub for each cluster of homes.
The farm offers ample space for avid gardeners and residents can garden or not as the fancy takes them.
You can decide to take care of the private area around each unit yourself, or you can opt-in to the maintenance service and just enjoy the landscaped grounds.
Fresh farm produce
One of the main advantages of country life is having your own high quality, organic vegetables, fruit, meat and eggs.
So at Wellborne we have designed the grounds to resemble a small, boutique farm.
Sheep graze the parkland and chickens free range beneath the fruit trees in the orchard.
Ample space is available for keen vege gardeners, with raised beds to make growing healthy vegetables easy and comfortable.
We are even planning a pond planted to attract waterfowl and other native birds.
Live Well With Us
There are a range of services available for residents including garden care, cleaning, handyman services.
In addition we will have a range of bespoke activities on and offsite ranging from vineyard visits and culinary experiences, to art, craft and sporting activities depending on demand.
For the older residents medical specialists and care services are able to be arranged on site.
